YOSHIDA（吉田 桜華） has served as a Research Assistant at the Utsunomiya University Global Justice & Peace Research Institute (UU-GJP) since August 2025. Her research interests include public international law, with a particular focus on witness protection in frameworks under international criminal law and refugee law. She participated in international criminal law and international humanitarian law (IHL) competitions, including the 2026 IBA ICC Moot Court, 2025 Nuremberg Moot Court, and IHL Moot Court and Role Play Competitions organised by the ICRC delegation in Japan. She also received an Encouragement Award from the Japan Association for Global Governance for her research on the network function of non-State actors in promoting norm compliance using attacks against humanitarian personnel as a case study. She is scheduled to undertake an internship with the Planning and TICAD Process Division of the African Department at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
