Overview


This workshop examines why several Southeast Asian states have not ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Bringing together scholars from Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia, the discussion explores sovereignty, regional politics, legal culture, and norm diffusion in shaping state responses to international criminal justice, reconsidering global justice from an Asian perspective.
